Think of it this way, when you sit down to read, you’re entering your own private party. In your mind, you are creating the images and scenery, even if it’s written for you, you are still in control. Everyone has their own idea of how that character really looks. Okay, I’ll admit it, I had my own idea of how Edward Cullen looked and…well, let’s just leave it there. Now, if it weren’t for a diehard fan saying, “OMG…you have to read,” I wouldn’t have looked for it in the bookstore. Then if it weren’t for the life size cut-out of Jacob in the library (That made my daughter smile…big time) and their support of the book, lots of people would have missed out.
So where am I going with all of this? It’s simple. The constant chain of D.J.’s, encouraging writers to write, and readers to read…keep our world spinning. To you, I dedicate this blog. YOU ROCK!!!

ReplyDeleteI liked this one. Laura, you're one in a million--Uh, that's not much these days. How about one in trillion. Being appreciated is what keeps writers writing--what keeps them able to write. YOU rock, girl.
